Happy Hunting och den vilda maten

Från Skott till Stek — which roughly translates to From Shot to Steak — is the sequel to Happy Hunting, shifting the focus from the hunt itself to what happens afterward: handling the game, preparing it and ultimately bringing it to the table.

 

Written by Fredrik Lundberg and Swedish chef and recipe developer Kristin Johansson, the book covers a wide range of game, from moose and deer to wild boar and partridge, and includes 40 recipes. Charlie Bennet photographed the project.

 

Published by Norstedts in Sweden in 2015, Från Skott till Stek was released exclusively in Swedish. It was also Bennet’s first cookbook and became the starting point for his growing interest in photographing food and beverage.
